I was thinking about upgrading the current BOSE speaker system but had a few questions. First, what are the size of our speakers in the front, doors and the rear sub.
Also can i replace the factory speakers with aftermarkets? Or does BOSE have some thing where i can only use their speakers cause they have some crossovers or amp built inline? Please let me know if anyone else has done a aftermarket swap of speakers, and their brands/sizes etc.

| In looking on cardomain.com last night i found a MO that had aftermarket speakers in it. The fronts were 6x9 and the rears were 6 1/2s. |

| I believe the stock BOSE unit uses very low resistance speakers, something like 1 or 2 ohm. Your standard aftermarket speaker is going to be 4 ohm. However, there are posts on the Fresh Alloy message board (maybe here too) which reports success of running 4ohm Infinity Kappas in a BOSE equipped Murano. Good luck. |
