Hey guys - I can't really tell from the threads I've read about it, but if your MO comes with no sat radio, can you just add any-ol' receiver and the head-unit will recognize it? With a G35 wiring harness how tough is this to do?

The Head unit is only compatible with the Nissan/Infiniti supplied SAT receivers. The 03 Murano needs the harness, the 04 has it installed. You buy the kit, either XM or Sirius and all the bits, including the antenna, are included.

so the bottom line is, even after the purchase is over, I could, say, go to my dealer and say "hey, let's add the satellite radio"
