Mike on FreshAlloy got his Murano around the same time as me. If we can drag him over, that would help. There are others too, that have popped up.

Me? I considered the Bay Area my second home at one time. Yeah, yet another HP employee....

My carputer should be in next week, and installed a week after that. I will agree to meet only after that as I have nothing to show off at the moment!

Please tell us much more. When you say "come In" what did you order and where from, what it's going to do. I guess I am out of the loop and should know all this but I apologize but I don't GRIP :D

Well, off of e-bay I purchased this "carputer" that consistes of a 7 inch touch screen monitor and a book size computer with DVD player. The unit includes GPS receiver, GPS software, MP3 software, plus a bluetooth dongle for wireless network connectivity. This unit had a XM PCR module but I decided not to get it as I plan to eventually get the OEM one but much latter. I also bought a PAC audio module so GPS, DVD and MP3 can be played through the Bose head unit. All of these have been shipped and I will hopefully have them sometime next week.

I am still debating where I want to install the screen. Right now I am leaning towards moving the non nav LCD down below the radio and installing the new screen in its place. The only problem with this is that I have to extend the wires for the existing LCD to reach its new location. Since I never like to cut any wires, I will have to construct and extension that will plug into the end of existing wires and reach the new location. If I do this, then installation time may have to be extended as I will have to get new plugs.

Anyways, I will keep everyone posted and provide pictures once I get the parts and start the project.

I'm not living in SF anymore, but when I did, I would attend the Maxima.org meets (when I drove a Maxima). A great place to park and lineup the cars is the ocean beach parking lot across from the Beach Chalet restaurant (off the great highway between Fulton and Lincoln). That would be a good place for a Murano meet I think, and perhaps a Murano carpool can be arranged for the drive to Cafe Murano. I wish I could attend!
DCMurano4
Anaheim here. Still lovin my Mo. Everytime I park him I look back and smile.

I am also from California!! Now there are two of us in here!

Glad to be here.

Shout at you soon.

I would like to join you murano drivers.

I just bought my Midnight Blue Murano SL and I'm looking for a great body/detail shop to do some mods, if anyone has any recommendations.

Thanks,
Jonathan

Welcome!

When I bought my Honda, I had California Detailing do the new car detail and paint protection on it. 7 years later when I sold it the paint on it still looked new.

For modifications....half the fun is doing it yourself, IMO...:)
