Whats the deal with the wimpy seat heaters? Just when they start to feel good they shut off. Has anyone noticed this or are mine just broken? I had an '87 Volvo with heated leather seats and it would cook your a** if you left them on longer than 5 min. That's what I want the mo to do.

Yeah, they shut off if they think they're warm enough...

I thought my driver's seat heater was broken, too. My passengers would always "ooh and aahhh" long before I did on those freezing cold winter mornings, and then mine would kick in for just a few minutes before cooling down again. I really could feel the seat heat turning on and off. Had my dealer check it (along with a laundry list of other things that day). They said the switch was defective and replaced it.

The heated cloth seats work great...no initial "butt freeze"...warm quickly....stay at a proper heat....no turning off/on as with previous leather heated seats(Durango..Buick)

Isn't it July?
I've found the seat heaters to work really well. I think I've used the High setting once or twice. |
