This may be a really stupid question, but has anybody ever looked into this Infiniti G35 trunk opener to see if it could be adapted to open the MO hatch:

| It looks like that device would just unlock the hatch. Are you thinking a power lifter like the rx330? For $165 and no mention of an actuator or motor of some sort, I doubt this would accomplish that.. Would be nice though. |

No, I'm sure that a power hatch lifter would not be cost-effective on the 03/04 MO. I am just thinking that a hatch release would be just great, especially if it could be activated remotely. Was hoping that some of the technically oriented types out there might have looked at this particular kit to see if it could be applied to the MO. Thx |
