| For those who have had their altenator replaced, do you thiink the new altenator will fail like the first one? |

| It would depend what the defective part was. Its been a year since the alternator epidemic began, I would suspect that Nissan has enough broken alternators to find the defective component in it. So with all new alternator replacements (now) I would be confident with the new part. As for alternators replaced a year ago, well I do not know, but so far there have not been any reports of replacement alternators going bad. |

Not all alt are created equal it seems.
30% failure rate, from the poll, seems that awfully high.
I become even less secure driving the mo over long distance :(. |
