It just makes me sick to my stomach to see what's going on... Between the horror in Haiti and to see FL get hit, yet again. I've donated money to various charities that are trying to help, but you can't help but feel so helpless through it all.
I've got my fingers crossed, 'cause what else can you do?:( |

I just finished putting up the plywood boards with Plylox - now I've got the rest of the weekend to try this case of Zaino periphernalia I got in the mail yesterday!

Well, IF she does what she is supposed to (And she doesn't have a history of doing what she is supposed to do..............) we get to watch this one.
We are expecting 50MPH winds and 3-5 inches of rain.
In other words just a typical summer day. Without the lightening.
But if she hits Port St Lucie and DOESN'T turn....................... :3:
We have not recovered from Charley.
South Seas Resort just laid off 200 people and admitted they won't be back in business this year.
Downtown Punta Gorda is gone and I don't know if any investor wants to put a building in there and hope to attract some businesses.
"Downtown" Port Charlotte is still just piles of aluminum strips that used to be people's trailer houses.
I still need a roof and am hoping to get a guy over here by next spring.
The people where this sucker is going are still reeling from Frances. And this one looks worse.
Just went to Category 3.

Just got home 4;00 pm this afternoon. It took me 8hrs 45 min to drive from Bonita Beach home..........guess just in time.......saw some damage in Punta Gorda.........terrifying!!!!
I really feel sorry for you folks down there in Florida..........
