Just imagine the parking lot and all the neat pictures we can take, everybody standing beside their MO, here in the beautiful weather, swaping MO stories. We will Post it and all those poor people chilling in the northern regions will drive down here and then we can have a big party! and swap even MO, MO stories. GRIP :D |

| I like MOpar's idea, I am using the PC to generate some small cards so when I see a Mo driver that looks like a good candidate I can leave a forum card and see if we can get an activity going. |

Found this forum. Looks like some great folks and some great info. I just bought my first Murano 4 days ago. An '04 SL Nav, DVD, Chrome Wheels, Pewter, most options (excluding the tow hitch). (bought the '04 cuz it was a great deal and I plan on keeping it for years).
I am very happy with it, although it needed the battery replaced Sunday. When I test drove it, it died. And died again. They said they charged it, but oh well.. I was there when they put a new '05 battery in it.
Not much to do to the car from my point of view. Though I will surf the Audio section to find simple upgrades (key is, I need to find a good local place to do them as my electronic skills are rusty).
And if anyone has any insights on how to get a bluetooth car kit (brand, who can install that really understands electronics in the Valley) installed in one of these that uses the stereo speakers as output, that would be great! I found the thread on hands free, but nothing bluetooth specific, after my search.
Look forward to adding some value at some point, but clearly I have a lot to learn!!

Hey all. Thanks for getting a PHX board going. Does anyone have a solid recommendation for a service shop in the Scottsdale area? I'm at 30K, just bought the 03 SL two months ago from the original owner, and I'd like to take it in for the 30K maintenance before I head out on a Vegas trip in a couple of weeks. I took it to Brown and Brown (Tempe) after I first bought it, but I wasn't too impressed.
I'm not much of a car DIY person, so I'd like to find a trustworthy, reliable, reasonable shop (holy grail of car repair!). I figured someone here would have a good recommendation (right Grip?!). I see there's been some talk on the boards about non-dealer service shops that can handle the CVT maintenance -- are there any good ones here?

Let me make a final stab at this. First special thanks to:
Zebelkhan, MOpar, Simplesb, Special k, Homer, Sricha, RichE, RickM46, KSmurano, Kris, bob1, Ohio Murano, mozman, mgthe3, njmo and Surag Rushmurano, Snow Mo and to the many other that have said no many nice things.
Secondly, I am not getting rid of My Marvelous, MO! I plan on continuing to modify it as I have time to enhance its comfort, style and capabilities. As you know I have a number of things still on the front burner. Parts for all are either in hand or on order, with just a couple yet to be ordered. My oldest has yet to send me the MiniMAc for my voice activated carputer and I still need to take the test for the Amateur technicians License and get the 2 meter installed and Ethernet connected and on the air. So many things to do before I "Sleep".
Finally, I hope to be able to post a picture from time to time as the project continues. I feel somewhat bad and kind of a shirker going away, But I have a tendency to get totally immersed in things. But Daughter, Grand Daughter and Grippee and family suffer when you are either in the garage or on the computer all the time. So being the manic that I am I know it's time.

I just happen to be in the pheonix area for easter weekend.. I would really love to see some modded MO's while I am here, although I am being forced to drive the t-bird :p
Anywho, I am writing this from the Biltmore Apple Store, so who knows, maybe I will have some luck and see some pretty Mo's :D |
