Hey guys..I do alot of photoshop on the VWvortex.com forums....thought I give it a try with Murano's.
Anyways.. I hope to offer you guys a photoshop request of your MO's. ie. rims/color/accessories.
Here's a sheer with 22's (approx) and lowered, tinted taillights.
ENJOY!

Using the same pic above can you add a grille similar to the Audis grille (chrome ring and black inside) for the top and bottom of the front of the MO. I'd be interested in seeing that.
I'm impressed!
EDIT: If you can do it in Sunlit copper that would be great.
Also, do the infiniti 20's have a center cap with the logo? Can that be replaced? |
|
|
| Gonzo |
| Man your work is amazing! I like the color match grill. |
|
|
| BoraBill |
thanks for the compliments guys...
I'll give the "audi" grill a shot today!
As far as the center cap goes......I personally haven't taken apart that wheel...but closeups of that wheel on Ebay, the center cap is a almost a perfect circle. So its possible to find something to replace it.
*** EDIT *** looking at this pic...its not a "perfect" circle..

I like that, too bad they dont make it. |
|

| Gonzo |
| I must say that I like your grill better than Nissan's. Too bad we could obtain one like that. I also have super black and a chrome or black grill would look great in your pho-version. |
|
|
| BoraBill |
I believe anything can be done....cause I hate the stock grille!!!
my only issue is...would there be alot of "engine stuff" showing through such big openings? That I haven't checked out yet.
This PS is for Zorb

| can you color match this grill? |
|
|
| Gonzo |
nissanlove,
Having been in involved with Photography since elementary school and having at one point managed a photo store I have a peave about bad processing. I couldn't resist but to "fix" your photo... please try another photo processing place as they one that did yours must be color blind. |
|
|
| BoraBill |
Chris03HD.... here you go.... two versions...one with badge colored, and other not colored.

| hey gonzo, i acutally didn't have the photo developed, it's uploaded straight from the digital camera and the picture was taken late in the evening. that's hwy it's got that blue hue. but the way you lightened up the picture really makes all the gold door trim stand out and brings out the true gold of the murano. |
|
|
| Gonzo |
| Great glad you liked it. |

Yeah, it's knowledge like that, that just costs you more money...
I paid twice as much for my video camera than most people would have, just so I had control of the white balance... Sometimes it's more cost effective to not know!
Now it bathroom reno time, and knowing the difference in materials is doing the same thing to the price of that!
Nissanlove, something you might want to try.... Many digital cameras do an auto white balance when you power them on. They try to look at the lighting conditions and tweak the colour to correct for them.
Try powering up the camera in those light conditions, with it facing a sheet of white paper. Also try some light blue paper and some light yellow paper and watch what happens to the overall colour of the pictures taken immediately after.
You might be able to force out the blue... |
|
|
| Kris |
Most digital cameras also can be switched from AWB (auto white balance) to the desired one. Like: flash, incandescent lighting, fluorescent, daylight…….it help.
Although, it is best to shoot in RAW format and have control over white balance, contrast, levels, gamma, saturation, sharpness etc. during conversion process. It does make a HUUUUGE difference in the end picture quality. |

| One the best features of digitial is home much control you can have over the image. Now I just need to find a service that can give me quality results as I do not have nor want to own a photo quality printer. |
|
|
| jaak |
| I married an HP employee that brings the stuff home as it's part of her job.... I think it's cheaper to just buy the printer and ink at a store, in the long run. She's expensive! |
|
|
| Gonzo |
Not sure, the main reason I use online services is that I don't have worry about getting paper, ink or hey I just bought a printer and two months latter they have it for half the price and the newer model is faster with better output.
The quality from these online services are on par with traditional photographs since they are developed the same. I've pretty much have my monitor set as it will be printed so 95% of the time I know what I'm getting. |

I agree with Gonzo.
I just ordered and paid for some digital prints from OTOFOTO (know owned by Kodak). First time I ever did it and the quality is indistinguishable from 35mm printed on good paper. Far better than the results I've been able to accomplish on any of my many printers. I doubt that I'll print any more photos at home.
Matter of fact, I have more printers and scanners sitting around in the basement than any other type of hardware, and I have accumulated quite a bit of hardware over the years.
The quality and speed seems to keep getting better every year and I'm always upgrading to the next technology.
I think I'll just stop buying printers, period. |

How about putting the front grille of a 1958 Edsel and the wheels of a FX45 on a silver Murano! That would look really silly!
(Oh wait, I'm sorry, it looks like someone already did that)

I would say "silly" is a slight understatement..... |

I agree, that's the way to go, as the service will always have the latest technologies and you won't have to sit there watching the stuff print...
The latest I've seen from HP, for truly photo quality printing, not just high res printers trying to be photo printers, is very very very good.
And there's more coming, of course. But let someone else upgrade all the time! (Or marry an HP Solutions Architect that has demo equipment.) |
