| Nice! Are you going to trade in your 05 for one of these? You know it's probably high mileage by now...around 750? :2: |

| Yeah, 8-10, maybe even 12, assuming it's a Diesel. If it's gas, then probably just 6-8. |

He got the Fancy one the 39F (unfortunately not featured in the web) It was dolled up for the Chicago RV show. Even has slide out door on the outside with built in bar-B-Que grill and another with TC, Stereo, DVD. The bed even had built in Massage.
The got the IronWood color and and the Slate interior. He going to come out this summer, so I get to see it, I'll snap a pic or so Up at the grand Canyon and Sedona. |

| 350 Cat??? Sweet! That thing probably has 500-600 ft-lbs of torque, very nice piece of kit. |

I did the RV thing once....
I elected to go the 5th wheel route for ease of leaving ur "house" at the campsite and driving the dually to events and parks, and most importantly, the grocery. I also bought used as the prices are way less than half in a couple of years, AND, hardly anyone really uses their RV's much---so there is hardly any wear. I spent a mint on puttin the best of the best in them...surround sound, auto vents for rain, upgraded levelers and many many other things.
I have some newbie stories from hell on my first RV, a 30' trailer....real funny now, but man O man, what a calamity when it was happening.
But, the job went poofy and I had to sell the whole shebang.
Oh, yes about mileage..my dually got 10mpg towing or not. Hence my selling it quickly after the 5th went.
At least my 2 boys were young and remember the great trips we did have. |
