About every 4th rain. Collinite keeps it looking good that many rains.
That and it is silver so it doesn't show dirt easily. |

| With all the snow in the Boston area, I've been trying to wash weekly to get rid of the road grime and salt.. but I'm two weeks overdue now, and we seem to get little rain/snow events every other day or so - washing gets expensive:( |

usually wash about once every two weeks.
Florida is quite clean.
AND if it rains, and the Gold Rush is outside, then we would never wash it.......
our rains are incredibly pure water. No "acid rain" here.
And with 5 coats of Zaino, the water tends to sheet off anyway.
Of course, if the car does get wet and then we have to drive it, she gets dirty and I have to wash it.......
And of course, being light gold she doesn't show dirt like black or dark blue.

| Weekly when it is dry (summer & fall and part spring), once in a while when the MO looks really ugly during the wet season. :) |

I remember my first new car.
A black on black 1957 Ford Fairlane 500 convertible. 312 CI, 3 on the tree with electric OD rear end.
I drove it from the dealer to the hot rod shop and had it dechromed . Even had the door handles removed and solenoids mounted under the sides.
Lowered 3/4 inch in front and an inch and a half in the rear and a pair of crusier skirts mounted.
Then some gold pinstriping added..
Washed that car EVERY DAY!
Waxed it (Remember Simonize?) every Saturday.
I was 19 and in the USAF.
It was my pride and joy.
Obsessed?
Possibly.

During the summer months I can just get bye with a quick Eagle spray & wipe dusting at least until it rains.
In the winter anytime we get any prescip the rain or snow gets the salt solution/grime all over your MO and you have to do the foam brushes. |
