As many of you know, we had a server crash. I have restored the backup and looks like everything is back in order. A few things are still missing, but I am fixing them as we speak.

I'd also like to thank everyone for your patience and understanding. These things happen to everyone.

Appreciate your hard work.
You need to look into running servers that allow mirrored volumes.

Yeah, redundancy is often handy. It's events such as yesterdays that help people explain ROI.
And what a pain to have to restore! |

I'm sure Admin wouldn't be so bold to say this, but I will...
If you would like to donate to help support the cost of the hardware and other expenses in running this wonderful, useful and certainly the best Murano focused forum, then please do!
Just look for this at the top and click on it...

Yesterday was the first day where I realized I've got a problem. I'm addicted to reading and responding (occasionally) about our Muranos.
I felt like I was in withdrawal, when I went for my afternoon check and discovered nothing. |

| Thanks for getting the site back up. As hfelknor mentioned, mirrored disks would be a great failover... RAID-5 would be better but more $$... |

| Oh gosh, I hate those restores probably more than anything else computer related. Nicely done job, admin. Fast and great recovery percentage. |

Thanks ADMIN for such a great site.:D :D :D :D :D
I was thinking on starting a pool on what Grip was doing with all his free time when the board was down, but you were just too fast in your restore.
I even found myself checking 3-4 times & I was trying to be patient. |

| I considered a career in IT at one point, then decided I really didn't want to watch Windows reboot for a 1/3 of my life...:p |

Did it include:
Replacing the Dishwasher, The reverse Ososmis unit. The Cove molding, Installing lawn lights for the Brother in Law, Getting a quote and letting contract for Brother in Laws front Yard grass and bushes, Fixing his Watering system, Just to mention a few.
Oh don't mean to forget installing more B-quite in the MO and connecting the TIVO.
