Does anyone have any experience with putting cargo on the roof rack? The limit is 100 lbs. Is that an absolute, or can I fudge about 10 pounds over that?

I'd stick with 100 pounds. Its not just the weight exerting force on the roof, but also how the wieght on top of the car affects handling (i.e., shifting the center of gravity for the vehicle).

I put about 250 pounds on and then drove home about 5 miles from Home Depot. I wouldn't worry about 110 pounds.

I agree 10% is closer than most of us can weigh something anyway. GRIP :D
