| Just a strange observation I had (perhaps a coincidence). I had the antena up in the normal position and heard a weird wind noise. I put it down and it appears to have gone away. Again, kind of strange and perhaps a stupid observation, but non-the-less strange.....:eek: |

I'm not sure about having the antenna up. Mine is always facing the back of the car, not quite 100 percent flat but pretty much. I have only seen them in that position and assumed it is flexible for cleaning of the roof. Do you get better reception if it's up?
I don't know why but it just does not look right in that straight up position.

I have mine roughly matching the windshield angle. Accentuates the laid back lines of the Mo.

Sorry, I should have clerified...the antenna is at the 45 degree angle, which is consistent w/ the body flow (not straight up). I agree, having it straight up would look pretty mental:p
BTW - having it down all the way does make the reception a little worse. |
