Hey, I gotta take credit for my half-assed hedged guess being spot on ;-).
WHY did they bring Alanso in early?!?! Arg! They should have just coasted behind Michael saving fuel and then fun for a few extra laps before a splash & dash at the finish! Arggggg!!!
Ah well, it's cool, chapionship wise Renalt & Alanso are miles ahead :4: . |

Remember last year? Do not get mad. Get even! :D |

You know guys why I always liked Ferrari?
Because they make the car and the engine and they are doing everything with heart (even when loosing parts)....and so should be in F1.
And of course all heads are still turning when there is a Ferrari on the street....same as if there is a Murano!!!!
RIGHT??? :D :D :D |
|
|
| jaak |
My head still turns when I see a Murano... I can make their head turn too....

And Yes, red is a great colour for a smokin' hot ride!
So is Sunlit Copper... ;) |

| Kris |
jaak,
I like your new avatar b....dy smoking! :D |
|
|
| jaak |
Yeah, I loved the Murano, but the SRT8 threw me to the ground and had it's way with me... So I think the Avatar helps explain what pulled me out of the Murano. It took an awful lot and I never expected a Dodge to do that! (But it's got so much Daimler in it, it's really a great marriage between German and Domestic.)
In the video above (you did watch it, right?) after I did the burnout, the guy in the black SRT8 (who lives 10 minutes from me) says "Apparently winter's over!" because those were my snow tires I was smoking! I didnt' know it was being recorded, but it was a last second decision to let those guys enjoy it. I don't often smoke them, but I do know how....
Next video is likely to be a figure 8 on the Good Year F1's.
Next stop, www.srttrackexperience.com in June.... I get to thrash Daimler Chryslers SRT cars for a day, for only $300! I'll do my best to consume that much in tires and gas.
Back on topic, I have to admit, it was good to see MS with a win he had to fight for... Especially after last year, as he truly is an excellent driver with excellent hardware (and excellent Italian F1 politics!), so good for him! I just like to see other drivers do well, too. It's no fun when no one else can even challenge him!
Dodge Magnum SRT8. A station wagon that will pass almost anything and sometimes, even a gas station! |

| Murano steering wheel looks pretty simple compared to...but see for yourselves.... |

Like to see the clock spring for that.... Must be muxed digitally.
Funny how this thread pops up in my email and gets me back here, every once in a while! |

Hey jaak, it's been awhile eh?
I saw a stretch magnum the other day, about 25 feet long, I thought you would get a kick out of it.
hehe |

| jaak |
Yikes! Thankfully mine's not like that!
Later in June, I am signed up for this www.srttrackexperience.com
So that should be cool. I want to drive the Viper at Watkins Glen! |

Any comments on Montoya coming to NASCAR? Good riddance from the F1 crowd or a new start on his career? What about all the chatter about Danica's father shopping her around the NASCAR garages? Is NASCAR finally gaining some respect in international circuits? (and please try to say more than just "No." :D )
There have been some interesting quotes from both sides. Even the BBC sunk to insults saying he's leaving now that he's fallen from grace, and heading to NASCAR with its "staged close finishes." From the other side have come comments about "we'll see how well he does trying to throw a 3,500-lb car around the track" and "Its easy to cross the finish line all alone like they do in F1. Let's see how he does when bouncing off the car next to you at 200 mph is 'just racing'".
My wife and I went to Pocono 500 and Pepsi 400 so far this year. Pennsylvania 500 tomorrow, and the California race coming up Labor Day weekend. Thinking about Miami/Homestead in November. |
