To get a response from interested parties you need to be specific on the options that your MO has. Right now I see only things that are prety much standard, except for the Bose stereo. List the packages, interior options, VCD, Navigation, etc...
manydubs
All Power options, No Navigation, 6-Disc in dash CD. Cloth Black interior. Nothing special like yours. You seem to be the king of aftermarket interoir options however-WOW! :D
manydubs
Oh yeah-Cargo Area Protector, floor mats, tint. Tilt wheel, V6 3.5L.
Coness
To save you the time w/ questions..I would definitely post pics of the interior and exterior.
Eric L.
You might want to list exactly what option packages you have. From your description it sounds like you have a FWD SL with just the premium package. No leather, no VDC, no sunroof, no NAV.
milgrad
I agree with Eric...and since I just recently sold my 04 MO I think the price might be a little high...miles are low, but really no options...
manydubs
No it IS a SE. The book value is $25.5K.

If you have SE then you should have HID. I think if you mention that in your ad plus sunroof (if you have it) it would help sell you car better. Just trying to be helpful...:)
manydubs
What is HID? Is that something with the headlights?
milgrad
HID is another name for xeon headlights....According to Edmunds.com private party value is 24,627...Good luck selling it....
manydubs
Thanks for the 411 on the HIDs. I am not using edmunds, I go by Kelly Blue Book value, which is $25.5K. But thanks anyway.

Dude,
If you REALLY want to sell it, this Forum is for MURANO FANATICS, which you apparently aren't. The things these people are asking you to list are everything a potential Murano Owner NEEDS to know! Details, Details, Details here are what matters.

Now, Go back and READ your Sticker that was on the window when you bought the vehicle. Then POST "everything" that was listed on it. Then take pics of the interior & odometer reading. That will help you TREMENDOUSLY!

PS Don't think about getting a job in Sales anywhere, you'll starve!:1pat:

KBB is mostly high.
Dealer uses the BLACK BOOK. to determine trade in / buy price....
The best price/guideline outthere is edmunds as far as i know as it IS one of the closest to Black book.

You can use any guide book value you want.
It is what the people who are lloking for a murano willing to pay that really matters anyway....
A friend of mine tries to sell his roadster forever because he is not willing to budge on the price, a bit higher than the KBB he is asking.

Good luck
grfg8r
SugarRush,
You are sooooooooooo right! I have a friend who is a broker and have looked at his BlkBk & Edmunds IS the closest to it!

He doesn't seem to have a clue of Basic ECO 101, "What the Market Will Bear!" In this case, "Let The SELLER Beware!"
:25:

I dont have the sticker, so sorry. I am a VW fanatic anyway! :D
manydubs
In addition, I am not an Economics major or a marketing salesperson. I have had alot of success selling my cars via the KBB price. There is no need to be negative, it is just that everyone on he is a Nissan fanatic, already ownes a nice MO and what do they need to pay full price for another. I will take your advice and try to reach another market place, like autotrader folks. Thanks for your negative and smart ass coments. Real mature!:3:

I did not find the comments as negative. A bit frank maybe, but not negative, and certainly with the idea to help you sell your car. The rest is really up to you....:)

Sorry if the earlier comments sounds negative.
The forum members, i think, are just trying to help by providing some inputs in selling the MO.

Anyway, I am an avid audi/vw fans myself.
I own audis since 1996 - 2002 and have always been a hardcore forum member at audiworld.com and vwvortex.com. Search for "sugarrush". Yes, they make good cars indeed; a joy to drive.

Good to know that you have some experiences in selling cars in the past. That will help!

One rethorical question for you though: isnt selling cars, regardless the brands (VW or Nissan), alike? It always start with the pictures then manufacture date/year, *complete* specifications, milage, condition, mods, and in the end asking price+your contact number? :4:

Good luck!

Yes, that is the best practice for selling a vehicle. However, I did not feel the need to list that much at the time. I did take the time to do so for the Ads that I paid for on Autotrader & cars.com.

Additionally, I felt that I would not have much luck selling it on here, but wanted to get the motion started. It is kind of like trying to sell a VW on www.vwvortex.com, everyone is an expert and they already have one, so they are looking for the deal of the century.

I do want to thank everyone for their thoughtful and helpful input.

Sorry Dubs,
Didn't mean to hurt feelings! It's just that these people were handing you some excellent FREE advice and you still wanted to do it your way. So, why ask?:8:

manydubs - I have noticed we have had quite a few hew purchasee's on this board, doing research & even looking for MO's before hand.
So I would think you would have an outside chance to get lucky! ;)
manydubs
Hey, dont get me wrong, I appreciate the FREE advice. But the smart ass comments are still unecessary! Thanks for the help. If you are interested in buying a MO, please let me know. Otherwise, I am finished with the advice which has been followed by comments.

NEW price: $25k.
TheGymKid
New price $25k ??? The first post you put up says you are asking for $25k. Maybe you wrote the wrong 'new price' ? Just trying to help out.

By the way, last month I bought a Mo and a week before that I sold my Nissan Maxima. I had it 2 years with 11,000 miles. I bought it for 23,000 and sold it for $17,600. I also went by Kelly's blue book which priced it at $17,400.

I hated driving it and couldn't wait to get rid of it.

Anyway, I used Autoshopper to sell it and sold it to the first (and only person who called me.

http://www.buyanad.com/ViewItem.asp?ID=79921

I also posted signs all over the local shops and left them hanging on my back window where I got the most attention. This print out listed EVERYTHING the car had from power seats to how many remote key fobs there and what they did such as automaticlly roll down the windows. It also had a color photo so everyone could see the type of rims, the spoiler and the sunroof visor, etc... I wanted to leave nothing out so no one had any questions to ask me... it was all on this advertisement. The web site is limited though unless you want to pay for words. Put the important stuff there. I think everyone here was saying.. since you have unlimted space to write... tell us EVERYTHING about the car and post pictures of it as well. People want to see what they want to buy.

Well, I guess you are on top of it as one of your last Emails say... but I just wanted to share my thoughts as I was reading through this thread. If I know anyinterested in buying a used Mo, i'll let you know. I know alot of people love mine and say it is to much money for them. So you never know.

I also just wanted to share my car selling experience since I just sold my Nissan about 3 weeks ago... and want to try and help find your Mo a home where someone wants her. : ) Good luck !!
manydubs
Thanks for the kind words and the link to the ad. I will also list on there. I updated the 1st post to reflect the new price of $25K.

I hope to get this amount, because KBB is $25.5K.
