Good Site!! We dumped our new 2004.5 VW Passat for the MO just because of how poorly we were treated and talked to "EVERY" time we went in for service. The whole VW experience sucked from begining to end.........
That would be the Mesa AZ, dealer at Country Club & Baseline! |

Dont you all think audi/VW as a whole is loosing their quality control?? They have a good portfolio of car models and image to begin with and they spoil /tarnish it with quality and customer service problem. |

A little off topic, but not so much since we're talking about VW...
I saw a Touareg today with a license plate that read "I8ABUG" :) |

| Halo |
Hmm. I don't know if they're so much 'losing' QC as they've never really had it. I've owned 2 VWs and they've both had their share of problems, the dealer service was average at best.
But, this is not unique to VW, it extends to most German cars. BMW and MB have just as many nuisance problems as VW except that fixing them is even more drama. I will say that the BMW dealer did treat me much better than VW (but hapilly took more of my money too :D )
I don't know if it is a cost issue or just wrong priorities. It is funny that a company like VW or Ford can build the same car for 4 years (or in case of Ford 8 years) and still not get it right. Meanwhile, you can buy a Honda or Toyota, first production run of the model, and it needs nothing but gas and oil changes for 60K miles. |
