| I just returned from a MAJOR road trip with my 05 MO. I drove over 5,600 miles from Montana to the East Coast (DC and even up to New Hampshire). I've never enjoyed driving this much. She was a masterpiece of machinery! I averaged about 24 mpg--not only on the highways but also in the city traffic . . . with the AC on! If my wife hadn't insisted on motels, I think I would have wanted to drive 24/7. :2: |

Yeah, it really is that good!
And plenty of room, which I loved... |

| Part of the idea of a roadtrip is to throw caution to the wind and just go. I wouldn't worry about it, but I would keep my AAA card handy and cell phone charged just in case. |

I was so eager to take the road trip that I threw caution to the wind and didn't worry about the alternator....much. For the first few days, my heart skipped a beat whenever I saw a light flicker on the dash. But then I realized it was just the odomoter changing.....
