Steering is "jittery" after tire rotation.. - Click HERE for Original Thread

I had my tires rotated per Nissan's recommendation at 6,000 miles (which I later found out in the manual that Nissan recommends 7,000). After I had them rotated I noticed my steering is very jittery. Could this be due to a misbalanced tire/tires?

Thanks for any help.

I think you are right you may need a tire balance assuming that all lug nuts where installed tighly and correctly. Take a look make sure they are all seated correctly and tight.

Had exactlly the same problem. The Goodyear dealer that did my balance and rotation used clamp on weights instead of stick on weights on the wheels. They tried several times to resolve the problem but could not. Went to an alignment shop and they rebalanced with the stick on weights and all is good again. Like a new car.
