Hi
Just wondering if any Murano owners would be interested in a Murano meet. Would be really nice to drive on a countryside route in Muranos of all colours. Nice pictures they would make---don't you think ?
Would also be an opportunity to meet with other Murano owners.
Could be organized for the first or second weekend in October.
Any one interested?

Finally got some responses on this. Was beginnig to think it was a silly idea.
jaak, I will post this on FA (Fresh Alloy??) and see how others respond.
We can always decide on the location once the response is encouraging.

With this number, the question now is: "To meet or not to meet?" |

| 10 replies constitutes a MEET! We must pick a scenic route to fully enjoy the drive. Cameras/videos a must. Shoot this eefectively and we can submit to Legendary Motor Car, I live 2 minutes away from there in Milton, and we may be on the TV show on Speed Vision. That would be great! |

Hey! As an ex Miltonite, I have to ask why you have Jokeville as where you live, if you're in Milton?
I used to love telling people in Toronto that I lived near 401 and Steeles, and watch the smoke come out of their ears as they tried to figure it out....:D |

| Sounds like a great idea, except .... I hope we're actually going to venture away fm TO. It goes without saying that I'm biased, but something like the Loyalist Parkway along the shores of Lake Ontario would be good -- scenery and less traffic. Having said that, some of the areas around Peterborough are good too. |

Organizing this is proving to be more difficult than I anticipated.
Looking at the responses, a handful of us are willing to meet, and MEET we shall!
Here are a few suggestions and you are all welcome to give your feedback:
Tentative Date: November 8, 2003
Time: 11:00 am
Place: Loyalist Parkway along Lake Ontario (as suggested by thecanuck).

No preference, just reachable in a reasonable amount of time, as I don't have much! :) Anything within an hour of Toronto's airport is reasonable for me.
I was out on the Niagara Escarpment last weekend, enjoying the fall colours. The copper looks fabulous in all the leaves! It's like the Great Pumpkin!:D |
