| Anybody using or ever used a Garmin StreetPilot III GPS? Can't find anything in previous posts on this particular unit and I think I need some help. Thanks. |

| The Streetpilot was my first GPS system. The benefits of it are good tracking, good screen that is easily visible in all light conditions, it's solid, can set road preferences with a scale, can plot a course via multiple waypoints. The drawbacks are that it is several years old, it takes longer than you would want to recalculate a route, and you have to use the annoying direction pad to input stuff. I have an iQue 3600 which reroutes much faster. The drawback of that is that the screen sucks. I now have a Streetpilot 2720 on order. |
