I apologize if this has been asked before:
What is the front and rear door speaker depths on the MO.
Assuming it is the same for the Bose and nonBose?
I'm looking into getting a set of Alpine comps with a top mounting depth of 2.8" on the woofers.

I just had my door panels off a few days ago. I didn't measure the depth of the holes but am willing to bet that it will accept any standard manufactured door speaker in depth.
The factory Bose speakers are mounted in a plastic ring that sets them forward an inch or two and there looks to be more forward room available.
My 05 with the Bose had 6.5s in it but used an aluminum plate that looked to be covering a hole for 6x9s.
If needed I can measure the forward from flush distance of the Bose speakers.

Cool, so 2.8" depth should be no sweat!
Do the factory speakers angle or are they parallel with the door? |
