Jace:
That is one fantastic morph job.
My only concern is how much a two-door Murano would look like an AMC Gremlin!!

I don't think it is even close to looking like a Gremlin.
I would however be VERY interested if they ever actually want to build one!

They are looking into it , only it's going to be called the Sport.
You may remember this from earlier this year: |

You know, this thread is beginning to scare me.
I am starting to believe the MO is really the bastard child of a 70's AMC product. It's just possible one of Nissan's current senior design engineers may have cut his teeth on the Gremlim program back in the 70's.
Back then the Japanese car companies clandestinely sent a few of their young engineers over to the States to learn from their Detroit counterparts. I think some young buckaroo was sent to AMC as a punishment and now he is working on the MO design team! I guess it could be worse, he could have been assigned to the AMC Matador design team! "It's, it's a Matador" - AMC slogan in 1975

Ahh, but there's one major difference.
The Gremlin was and still is, ugly. |

Not quite. The Sport Coupe concept is basically hot rod version of the Tiida; a probable B15 Sentra replacement.
There's really no market for a 2-door crossover SUV. |
