I have a 2004 Murano
The gate was working earlier yesterday and then I opened it and attempted to close it when the latch would not catch.
There is nothing blocking it or in the channel
How do I fix this? |

Odd, never heard of that before. The nearest was when parking on a uneven surface it was hard to close.
I guess you can fix it with duct tape and bring it to the dealer.

Push the lift-gate button while the door is open to make sure the latch is in the open position then try closing the door again.
