I've got a 03 MO with the Bose upgrade and 6-cd changer. So far, I've had to replace the changer 3 times, and I'm still getting troubles when playing CDs. Basically, at this point, I'm past my warranty and know I'll have to pay for Nissan to replace the changer again...and I'm fed up.
Has anyone replaced the stock 6-CD changer that Nissan supplies with an aftermarket CD player? I don't care if it's 6-CD or single disc, I'm just looking to make a change to a CD player that actually works. With the Murano console design, can you replace the CD changer only, and keep the tape player, etc? Or would I have to replace the entire unit?
I know I'm clueless here, but...Thanks for any and all help! |

| As far as I know, if you want to have an aftermarket head unit, it will have to be in a spot other than the Bose head unit. There is a circuit board behind the fascia that will prevent you from installing an aftermarket unit there. Do some searhces. There are actually pictures of some people having custom work done. |
