I was hoping to leverage the existing NAV screen as I work to install a carputer and was wondering if this was a solid option or if there was a better solution I just didn't find yet. If someone can point me in the right direction that would be great. Thanks!

That board is also on their site for $150.
I don't have the links right now, but an NTSC to RGB converter should be in the $100-150 range, in a box.
There's better deals around, but the concept is good.
