I've noticed that my MO presents a slight hesitation when using the A/C between shifts. It is infrequent and 99% of the time comes when starting from a stop and around the point where the CVT engages (15 mph). I imagine the load on the engine is causing this, but it is still unusual. Anyone else feeling this? Even slightly?
Response is much smoother when A/C is off, so it can't be a CVT problem, just an.. occurance. |

Oh yeah, AC robs power. Happens on every vehicle I have owned. Even on the Z it is noticeable.
Not an rpm drop for me, just feels like you lost a little power. I wouldn't call it sluggish, but thats the type of effect. And it's normal. No, the blower doesn't need to be on full tilt. Just the AC clutch engaged. |
