| Hello. I have a new 2006 Murano S. I would like to connect aftermarket amps to the stock (non-Bose) headunit. Reading this forum, it looks like I will need a PAC OEM-1 or 2. The OEM-1 looks like a great solution, but will it work with the non-Bose headunit? Thanks in advance for your help. |

| I, of course, have an 04. Any way to jury rig it for older MO's? |

| Thanks for the reply. So, has anyone been able to use the OEM-1 (with its prewired harness goodness) with the non-Bose stock headunit? I'll surely buy one if I know it will work. Crutchfield website says that it is incompatible. |

Unless the 06 is wired different, No.
There's no low level outputs like the BOSE system.
Either get a high to low level converter from your local electronics store or get an amp with a built in converter (This was my route). What also sux is there's no amp turn on signal; so you need to wire it to your ignition. The amplified FM/AM antenea wire is powered on even with the radio off. |
