Hello,
Have a 05 Murano with 14k miles on it. I'm not the daily driver however the other day when pulling into the garage I noticed a slight and very brief (just a couple of seconds) whine or humm when just slightly touching the accelerator. I'm able to easly replicate this noise over and over by just touching the accelator (not even moving - more like rolling back and forth) on a slight hill.
Family member took the car to the dealer and was told this is a normal noise that Muranos make? Something in regards to a "hydraulic lift" or the "value lifters"?
Doesn't seem to make sense with me - the dealer is now closed I'll call myself first thing Monday AM to try to get a better answer.
Anyone have any experience with this?
