The SES light came on this morning while driving to work. Just retreived the fault code (using ScanTool) P0456 - evaporative leak(very small).
I have erased it. Interesting what technology can do - I am typing this info on my laptop, in my car watching the ScanTool! Wireless internet connection of course!
I guess $150 was money well spent |

Kris-
My curiosity got the better of me... What is an "evaporative leak(very small)"?

| The code database says: "P0456 - Evaporative Emission System Leak Detected (very small leak)". I have assumed it was the fuel cap as I was refueling 2 days ago. This has happened probably 3 times in last 6 months. If it happens again Murano goes to a dealer to have the fuel system check. |

| Big props for scan tools! Last visit to the dealer to check for codes, they found this code too (did not turn on the SES though). Got the gas cap explaination. |

| I farted one day and got the same fault. Maybe it was the methane gas sensor? |
