I couldn't locate the information I need to make a decision on replacement tires. What I want is style and longivity, especially for the kind of money I'll be paying.
My Mo is a 2003 SE with Goodyear Eagle LS, P235/65R18. I have toally enjoyed the look and handling of these meats but at 35,000 miles, they're at about 1/8" depth. The local tire shop, Big Brand Tire Company, wants $700 for the same tires mounted, alignment checked, and out the door. Is this a reasonable price for this tire? I'm not near any snow, mostly dry, and driving about 11,000 per year. Without changing rims, is there a tire that has the same style but will last longer? Preferable for less money? I do not like the look on the Michelin tires and no one has posted any images of those Yokohamas. |
