Recently had two "drive" belts replaced by my dealer, on their recommendation, at 41000 miles.
Now, the belts squeak on occasion when starting up. typically this happens after I drive the vehicle for a bit, then let it sit, then start it up again. Drive it to work, let it sit, it will squeak when I go to lunch or when I head home. Short squeak, then it goes quiet.
I guess I'm wondering if this is temporary... I've taken it into the dealer but they, of course, state they can't get it to squeak. It won't do it if the vehicle sits overnight, which it has (in their lot).
sigh. |

Doombringer-
Have them check and adjust the tension on the belts.

| Squealing accessory belt on startup = loose belt. They did not tighten the belt tensioner adjustment screw enough. |
