I was wondering what products people use to clean and maintain their dashboard?
303, Armor All, etc... |

For regular cleaning, a damp microfiber cloth does the trick. For more intense spot removal Simple Green works - if the smell does not bother you.
Try to avoid anything that leaves a shiny glossy surface. Some interior/plastic cleaners will do that. |

I persoanlly do the same thing mdave does, a microfiber towel slightly damp works great and will get out any dirt spots.
Simple Green works but again if you don't mind smelling like a pine forest.
Use something with a matte finish, make sure that it is water based conditioner. Do not get one that contains any petroleum distillates. Petroleum solvents can dry out the top vinyl layer and cause premature cracking. I find it works good to give its natural sheen without that artificial plastic look.
Oops forgot to put what I use...I use Pinnacle Vinyl/Rubber Protectant |
