ABS Warning Light - Click HERE for Original Thread
tfolino
My ABS warning light remains on sometimes especially in cold weather when first starting the car. Last winter it only happened in extremely cold weather. It goes out after the car has warmed up only if you turn off the car and re-start. The dealership says it is a faulty light - they did were not able to fix - but says the ABS system is fine. Recently the light has come on when the temp drops to only 60-65 degrees. Any one else experiencing this?

Uh yeah......
That's like when my light comes on in my living room.........obviously a faulty light.

Tell those bozos that the light indicates that there is a problem with the ABS.
now COULD it be a problem with a sensor that causes the light to come on?
Yeah, but they don't know that. And if it is, then replace the sensor.

I don't do cold weather. But if it happened to many Muranos, this board would have lit up with complaints about ABS lites.

Consider another dealer.
