| On my trip to Las Vegas last summer, the SES light came on but the car operated normally (after a restart) and when I got back the TB was replaced by the dealer as cause of the problem. I think I had 26K miles then. So far so good (43K miles) but I have not taken a long trip since so I am not sure if it will happen again.... |

Back in 03 My car went into limp mode in the middle of a long trip to TX-OK-MO-TN- and home.
A simple reset (turn off ignition, restart) got everything going again.
Some time later, the techs pulled a code and replaced the TB.
No more problems and there have been several long trips since then.
