I recently purchased a '06 Midnight Blue SL AWD, and to be honest I like the front grille of the '05 MO much more than the '06. Is there any where i can purchase an OEM replacement? Also is it a simple switch?

| I already replaced my grill, so my OEM 2005 one is just sitting in the garage. If you're close by (Seattle area), I'll give you a good deal on it. If not, I can see about shipping it, but that would be a pretty big and bulky package. |

I am pretty sure that the 05 and the 06 grille's are interchangeable. Reason being, my 06 had a little run in with the back of a car (I was not driving) and I had to get the grille replaced. Seems that the auto shop placed an 05 grille on my 06 Murano. I was gonna call the shop to have them replace it with an 06 grille, but if you want to make a swap, I would be glad to do so. I'm in Long Island, so not to far from Queens. Drop me a PM if you're interested. |

SuMO I have a few small chip marks on the grille and would not feel comfortable doing a swap. I called the dealer and they told me the grille costs 183 + tax.

No worries.
Are you still going to go ahead with the switch anyway? I really don't see much difference between the two grilles besides an extra pillar added to each half. Maybe a darker color?
Even so, I'm gonna call the shop and get it switched too. The shop probably didn't notice the difference between the two. Maybe they'll let me keep the old one. We'll see. |

Well I like the 03-05 grille better than the 06 looks sportier to me.

| A little more than a month ago. Ashamed :o that I didn't notice sooner. Guess I was just too impressed that everything looked good as new. |

Well I swapped the grille of my 06 for an 05 and i love the way it looks, IMO the old grille looks more like an SUV than the new one which make it look like a car. It was a bit difficult to remove at first but once you get one end off, the rest is cake.

I would be interested in buying an 06 grille since my rims were customized in black chrome and it would be complimentary. Julzism if you, or anyone else is planning to part with one, quote me a price. A couple of chips doen's really matter since mine has almost 130,000 km on it :) |
