i need an idea on a quote i got from a local shop. z-tint here in dfw quoted me $550 invisible bra for a lifetime warranty. it includes mirrors, hood, fenders and front bumper for the 06 murano. does that sound a bit high?

It's "about" right, but should include 40mil on the headlights to be competitive. OR they should be willing to do the Lights for 40/50 including labor and 40mil film.
And make sure the film on the hood, bumpers etc is 8mil.
Go look at some of their jobs (Well, at LEAST one).
Don't buy this BS that I have seen posted here that it is "ok to have bubbles, they will work themselves out" Maybe so, but a quality job leaves NO bubbles immediately after. |

anyways, thanks for the reply. but another question is that i've been seeing these clear bras on ebay for the murano for about $30/$50. i'm sure they're not 3m. my question is has anyone here tried them before?
i'm thinking ok, maybe they don't have the uv protection, or it may not last as long. but that's quite of a difference between $30 and $300 (for the 3m ones). any comments? thanks! |
