Any of you out there who own 2006 model, are there any noticeable difference in terms of acceleration and cvt response from previous models?

i know nissan is implementing the CVT into 2007 altima and theyre offering a 265 hp version, interesting to see how cvt will be improved for extra hp

would be interesting to see a performance improvement in MO, particularly off idle. We like the kick from 50-70mph but seems a bit weak below that point. Also, accelleration at higher altitudes is a bit lacking as compared to higher performance cars. Other than that, we
still like our 03 SE AWD.

Fixed. Thanks Joe.

interesting,

i feel the current murano has good performance despite some slugishness from cvt. my favorite thing about the cvt is when it changes ratios it feels like the car gets a boost right at that moment, instead of the typical jerk from a standard transmission.
