Hey all...just returned the Murano (lease ended) and I have a Hidden Hitch receiver for sale. Class 2, 1 1/4" receiver, with the drawbar kit (never used), all bolts and washers included.
Hitch has a bit of rust (as you would expect from two years of use) but is otherwise in perfect shape. Fits perfectly with no drilling, and takes about 30 minutes to install.
I also have a Thule Expressway 4-bike bicycle rack for sale, in excellent condition with a small amount of rust. Perfect for the Murano, the hatch can be opened with the rack in position and bikes loaded on. Comes complete with integrated locking cable.
Offers accepted. Cheapest I can find the hitch online is $169 plus shipping, and the cheapest rack is $239 plus shipping. I'm in central New Jersey and can do local pickup or will ship.
Email joiseyboy at gmail dot com with offers or questions. Pics are available as well. Thanks!
EDIT: I'm looking for the drawbar kit, haven't found it yet. I put it "away" when I got the hitch and who knows where it went. I'm pretty sure I'll find it, but I haven't yet. In any case, it's not needed if you just want the hitch for carrying a bike rack or similar rack, only for towing. |

I'm in NJ and have a 2005. Do you have pictures? Really 30 min to install, do you need to lower the exhaust? How much would you accept for both? Let me know.
Thanks. |

Here are some pictures of the rack and hitch. They're pretty dirty; it's pouring right now and I couldn't clean them up for pics. There's not much rust; most of what you see is dirt and can easily be cleaned off. 90% of the rust on the hitch is in places you can't see when it's mounted and it would be easy enough to just hit it with a coat of flat black spraypaint if it bothered you.
The exhaust has to drop a bit to get the hitch into place; this requires you to remove four bolts and loosen two. It's a very straightforward process. It took me 30 minutes to put the hitch on and maybe 20 to take it off. Instructions from Hidden Hitch are HERE.
Everything brand-new would be $410 plus shipping. I'll take $225 for both if you come and pick them up. Otherwise, $100 for the hitch and $160 for the rack.

Looks like $50 or so to ship two boxes to you, so $275 shipped for both. Let me know what you think.
Both items will be on eBay next week if they don't sell here. I'll post links if/when that happens. |
