I'm buying a new house and I might not be able to keep my MO. I'm located in the bay area. I'm looking to get $31-34,000 for it. Anyone think that might be too high?

Sticker priced over 40K new
50,000 miles < +75% freeway miles>
-For 32000 is for the mo with the stock rims with tpms.
*With out some of the extras below.
- For 34,000 is with the stock rims + 2003 20" fx rims and a $2000.00+ set of Enkie polished rims with practically new tires.

The PAC and Nav to TV upgrades I've made. I will include the JWT Pop-charger <washed and reoild every 5000m> and ztube intake and the OEM intake parts. Grounding wires, Chrome side rails, True HID FOGS, All weather rubber mats + carpet mats. Extra set of hi and low horns I installed. roof cross bars. Updated Nav 6.4. Also NAV While driving switch. I'll also include the modified Xbox I used with the NAV to TV. Umm...I'm sure I'm forgetting some extras I've installed on my Mo.....Its a great SUV...
Its been washed and waxed religiously every other week....sometimes more.... Always used premium gas..... Oil changed every 3600 miles usually done by me or the dealership when I get lazy.... 36000 premium service done @ Nissan serramonte. Have not brought it in for the newest recalls. But already done the alternator recall. I was lucky mine never died on me. Led bulbs. Painted calipers<red>. Lined hood + alldoors..and trunk with Fatmat sound deadner. SWA crank pulley. umm I can't think of anything else.....
Ohh and it has the OEM 350z muffler and custom 2.25 piping.
What do you guys think about my price? Is it too high? Bay area buyers only.... |

The new house has a two-car garage right? Don't sell the MO just yet. Buy a few lottery tickets instead. You never know.:D

| I would never pay extra for somebody elses mods. I understand some people, especially if they can't do it themselves would. That just seems kind of steep since I paid $30k for a brand new SL with all the options that I wanted. I like the rims but others may not. I can just say to put it out there and try maybe someone will. Just like that cars.com commercial I think it is...the guy with the lime green car. Maybe someone out there will want all the mods. |

A fair price is one negotiated between a willing buyer and a willing seller.
You can "ask" any price you want to for the car. You may get the top end $$$. However, I think most used car buyers are not spending new car money.
Aren't the retail prices on KBB dealer suggested prices? What are the private party values?
Could you possibly get more loot if you sold the rims by themselves? Maybe, sell the MO as is, then offer the rims to the buyer, or Ebay 'em.
In any event, good luck with your new home! It looks sharp. |
