I am new to the forum and just got my MO this past Saturday. I got a 05 AWD SL base model with only 25K for $19500 in the silver color. I want to upgrade the system and I do not have the bose. Most of the posts I have read are on upgrading the existing BOSE system but what can I do with the base HU and base speakers. I saw the post about the JL stealthbox and that might be an option but what else have you guys tried that didn't break your pockets.
Any help on speakers, headunit replacments, amps would be greatly appriacted.

I just put in my car front and back kappa 60.7s components, a 6 channels lc6 filter and a 6 channels JL audio amp for my car computer. The way i have this setup is.
factory amp -> lc6 -> JL -> kappa. you can put in the stealth box in the back also. It is depends on what you listen to. |

So how does the system sound with the base unit running throug the amps with those two converters?
