I am considering a 2006 sl with touring pkg. Love the car,
but:
looks like there is no auxiliary audio input.
The dealer is no help here. They think having the power plug in answers my question.
From the previous posts, I am a little confused.
-Is there an accessory that will just give an audio input? I don't have an ipod- just another mp3 player. However, if there is a functional ipod connection I would buy an ipod.
-Looks like there may be an ipod connection but it just does not display properly. Is this correct? So do you just operate all the functions manually from the ipod itself?
It may seem silly but this will have big impact on my decision. Also considering some other cars that have an input. |

There are multiple way to get Aux in.
FM Modulator
Cassette Adaptor
Multiple systems available that attach via the Sat input.
I suggest a search of the forum as there are too many examples to repost here. I used the PAC unit and it was Very good. There Are others, some have more functionalit than others. Not limited to an Ipod. |
