Well my MO is now at 1800 miles I just noticed its first official problem.
Being I don't use the back seat doors very often (just me and my wife), this may have come from the factory this way.
Problem: While in the back seat, with all the doors unlocked, I noticed that my rear (back seat) passenger side door will not open from using the inside handle/lever. The outside open lever/handle works fine, but if you are inside no dice. I tried (using both the remote and interior unlock switches) to lock and unlock the door many times, but still the inside lever does nothing. All I can think is maybe it is not hooked up.
So I plan to bring it to my Nissan service center as soon as I can. I also plan to replace my sun roof wind deflector, due to strange cracking in various areas of it.
Has anyone else had this problem? |

sounds like the child lock mech. is switched on...
simply, open the door, and look on the face of the part that contacts the striker....
you'll see a child res. black pinswitch, with ON and OFF postioning...
switch it off
problem sloved
(i hope)

esemes,
Yes, thank you, that was what it was. Didn't even know it existed. All my other cars in the past have been two door cars.
Thanks again! |
