Nissan is planning to replace their X-Trail with the one below in 2007 in Europe. They say it is imitating MO. They are working on it together with Renault, where they will get the engines.
Here is something I found on the web and maybe you in States are also getting this so called little MO::confused:
"The Nissan X-Trail is a compact SUV sold in Japan, Europe, Canada, Mexico, India, Taiwan, Saudi Arabia, Thailand, New Zealand and Australia by Nissan. The company currently offers a hydrogen fuel cell version on lease to businesses. Also sold in Canada and Mexico, it slots below the Xterra. It was introduced in 2001 to compete with such compact SUVs as the Toyota RAV4 and Honda CR-V, but it didn't arrive for the Canadian market until 2004. It will be sold in the United States in 2008 when the X-Trail is redesigned." |

Makes sense to me. I've been expecting a 2.5L 4 cylinder downsized version, maybe even hybrid of some sort. |

I'd have to say that nose is less than flattering. All the headlight, hoodline and flowing bumper art of the Mo is definitely missing on this one.
Blech. |

"... hoodline and flowing..."
Hmmn. Overall I think the Murano looks good.
But the hoodline? You must think Jimmy Durante's nose is a classic too? :2:

OK.......some may not know who Durante was.
Comedian and sometime singer....big in Vaudeville and very early TV. Funny guy.
