| I checked the prices on installation on the Prestige APS997 Alarm. This is a two way LED paging alarm with remote start. They wanted over $630 (Includes Alarm) to do this. I can get the same alarm on the internet for $150 + $20.00 for the bipass module (needed Remote Start). I have installed alarms in the past so I am going to do this myself. I do need help from some of the experts on this forum. That is dealing with the wire diagrams and problems they have run into. I know I need a universal bipass module 556uw from directed for the remote start. I also know I need to pull the door panel off to get to the wires for the remote keyless entry (They wanted to charge me $180.00 for that). Anyway, has anyone installed an alarm on their Murano. It would be great if could post any needed wire diagram or other information that would help. Thanks in advance! Thomas |

What problems are you running into? I installed a remote start system in my 04 Murano. Lmk if you need wire codes. I had to go to the drivers door to get the power lock/unlock wires.

You don't need to go into the doors. You can tap the BCM.

Your right, the link is gone. To bad, it had nice pics and described several nissan/infinity model installs.
Basically,
lock/arm is pin 13 (BCM). If it doesn't work try pin 11.
disarm/domelight turnon/double-purse unlock is 14
Does not control windows like the OEM remote.
NOTE:
Both 13 and 14 should be empty on the 40-pin plug of the BCM.
orange/red wire is pin 15.
strip 5/8-3/4" of insulation off wires, insert into slots and tightly zip-tie to other wires in plug.

| So the BCM is located above the accerlator pedal. Is it easy to find? Just want to make sure I am taping into the correct wires. I have a 2003 Nissan so I assume the 2004 wire list that has more detail is the same? Thanks for all your help. |

| o4 murano has seperate door triggers. I tagged the parking light by taking the drivers rocker panel and trimming a small piece out of the plastic protector to find the wire. |

The BCM is up to right of steering wheel column.
Route your remote starter's lock wires right along side the ignition wires. |
