06 Color Screen - Click HERE for Original Thread

I am looking into buying an 06 Murano, here is my problem or question. I live in Florida and do not want the leather seats that Nissan forces you to buy when you get the OEM Nav system.

Is the base color screen in the 06 Murano the same as the Nav screen?

Does the base screen have a RGB or composite input that I could get too?

If the screen has an RGB input I would much rather install a small pc (Dual Core Mac Mini) running windows and MS Streets & Trips.

Thats an interesting question. I read a review that said all models have a new 7.5" color LCD. It never mentioned if the NAV color screen is exactly the same or not. It did say that the previous color screen was hard to read and the new one is much better. Well the previous color screen was available with only the NAV option. From what I have seen they look the same to me. But I haven't seen it written down anywhere that the NAV and non-NAV color LCDs on the 06's are the same.
