well i had to do it, after almost 3 months with the tube my dad just couldn't get accustomed to the increased intake sound. so it's time to part with it. i'm asking $70 USD + s/h anywhere(reason it's steep is that i don't see the tube as accumilating any wear and tare since there is only air going through it). this is including the needed extended vacuum hose.pm me or post here if your interested.

NissanLove,
I may be interested in your Z-tube if you still have it. Is this what it looks like in your MO?

Are there any other down sides to having it other than the sound your father dislikes. What kind og hp increase does it profess? I prefer a more agressive sound, I'd love to eventually get a cat back system too.
Thanks |

yes it is defenitly still available and yes that's what it looks like.... as far as power gains they were quoted at 11 hp on a g35 Coupe and it did feel peppier when i had it installed. no other down sides to it. i really wish i could keep it but my dad likes the quiet luxury over the performance.

How difficult is it to install? Do you think there would be any warranty issues. I still have some time left on my basic and I have an extended warranty. Would I need to swap the stock system back in if I have to go to the dealer for service? Lastly I live in U.S. Maryland, zip code is 20708, can you estimate shipping cost. I think the price you are asking is reasonable I've seen a unit by Injun selling for $302. For clarification does the one you have consist of an intake tube that is for the 350Z and the JWT Pop Charger?
Sorry for so many questions, I'm just begining to do research on this. I'll look through some of the threads too for answers.
Thanks,

i'm only selling the z-tube and not the JWT pop charger filter. it is basically the intake tubing straight out of a 350Z. if you'd like you may be able to go to your dealership and see if you can get it even cheeper, then you won't need to pay shipping costs. warranty concerns- i'm not really sure, i've had the JWT filter in for a year and they haven't ding me on anything with it. it's just like putting in an aftermarket intake system but instead your using genuine nissan parts.i'll try and find out the cheepest shipping cost over the weekend and get back to you buy the beginning of next week. ohh also the install is simple, you just take off a couple clamps and some tubing and put in this new peice and adjust it to fit properly. i havn't tried hooking it up to the stock airbox, you'd probably have to get some extra hoses and it'll subdue the sound a little bit but i'd imagine there would still be a very nice rumble if you just popped in a k&n filter.

Thanks I'll hold off then, I'd prefer to get both the tube and charger together or at least locally to save on the shipping. Thanks for your time.
