| I have a platinum 06 SL MO, I would like to know if there is a way to shut off the dvd player so it doesnt come on every time the MO is started up ? |

I don't know if mine is wired any different, but the factory DVD player on mine does not power up every time I start, but I have an '04 MO. I would check with Nissan and see if they can take care of that under warranty. (Check on other '06 models with the DVD player to see if it turns on when you start the car.)
