Hello,
trying to change my foglight's bulbs to make'em blue. Can you please recommend what brand of bulbs I should get? I heard people bought blue bulbs but in reality they appeared white after installation... Also I'm not really sure what "application" would I need...9006, 9007? I'll appreciate any help. Thanks

Page 8-29 of the 2006 Owner's Manual shows the fog lamp to be an "HB4" which is equivalent to a 9006.
Blue lights? Are you talking about the "fake HID" lights that you see on many cheapo ricers, or are you looking for a "custom look" with blue-tinted bulbs. If you are looking for the former, manufacturers like Sylvania offer the "Cool Blue" product line. Although the bulbs look blue, the light output is more white. Their part number would be 9006CB.

| I'm talking specifically about my foglights. I saw those lights on one MO in the city and they were blue so I was wondering what needs to be done in order to make them blue. I was told by the guys here that the color film that people apply to the lights won't hold the temperature so I figured that the bulbs have to be changed. Started looking for the bulbs on Ebay but they do not provide blue effect, although appeared to be color blue. So I totally got lost... |
