Found out what my problem is while I was installing my sub and amp. I have a good connection everwhere else but the remote sensor wire. Initially I had it tied into one of the speaker wires but that was not working. the LED on the Amp would flutter to the beat of the music and that was it, not bass. I am not hooking this wire up to the head unit, instead trying to find another source close to the amp to tie in to. Anyone have a recomendation on where/what I could splice into to attach the remote wire in my MO.
Thanks in advance |

| Do you have the bose system? If so there is a remote wire you can tap into at the base amp. If not, HU is the only place I would run it. Since it tells the amps to turn on. |

| Yeah, the Bose system. Which wire on the Bose systems amp? Is the amp under the rear seats? I've also seen the remote wire tapped into the Bose factory subwoofer in the trunk. just not sure which wire to tap into. I have the amp and sub all hooked up, just need 12v source to turn the amp on/off. |

| It is under the rear seat, I'm trying to remember which wire it is. I just had to rewire the bose amp in, since I got the PAC module. I suggest just looking at the amp and it should be a blue wire. I know its none of the wires that are twisted, speaker wire... red, black obvious...I want to say a single blue wire. Sorry I can't be of anymore help. |

| The is a wire called TOW to the left of your spare near the bumper that should be an empty spade connector, it works nicely. Also, it isn't pretty, but the rear power outlet is also a good place. Get a 12v lighter type male plug and connect it to that. Or, remove the panel and tap into the wire going to the recepticle. |

| You guys have been great. Thanks for trying to help me out. I'll go home and see if I can't find the remote wire going to the Bose amp. I've been able to temporarily test the speaker by just plugging into the 12v source on my subs amp and it sounds amazing. Obviously that's not a permanent solution just a fun little test. Sounds like I might have to get some Dynomat though. Jeez, its just a 10" |

| If you going to get a sound deadner, go to secondskinaudio.com and look at their spray on coating. Much better than dynamat and cheaper. |

I just looked at mine, since they were originally spliced into. I believe it is the blue plug, the one with all the speaker wires, the single green with a white stripe wire. All the others are twisted together. |
